Person-centred counselling

Approach

As a person-centred counsellor, I’ll strive to assist you in exploring your own unique beliefs, issues, behaviour and feelings in a safe environment, to enable you to become kinder towards yourself, more confident, independent, self-aware and start to make deep and lasting changes.

Research repeatedly demonstrates that it is the quality of relationship that is the greatest facilitator of change and I am always prepared for honest and open relationships with my clients.

Who I work with

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and have experience of working with a diverse range of clients, with a variety of areas they wish to visit, including stress, anxiety, depression and neurodiversity. I also currently work for a bereavement and loss service.

I adhere to the highest ethical standards in my practice and am dedicated to maintaining client confidentiality and always respecting diversity and inclusivity.

Further Information

Before my counselling training, I worked extensively in education, where I acquired lots of experience working with young adults with a spectrum of social and learning differences. I’m passionate about therapy as it can be truly life-changing, providing you with a fresh perspective and a sense of empowerment.

I consider it an absolute privilege walking alongside my clients, witnessing them grow and overcome life’s struggles at a pace that suits them.
