Jennifer Freeman
As a dedicated counsellor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, I offer a warm and empathetic environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity for personal growth and self-understanding, and I am here to support you on that journey.
Type of Therapy Offered
I specialise in Person-Centred Therapy, a humanistic approach that emphasises the importance of a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic relationship. This form of therapy is client-led, enabling you to direct the pace and content of our sessions based on your needs and experiences.
Approach
In our sessions, I focus on creating a safe and accepting space where you can express yourself freely. I believe in the power of active listening, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, which are the core principles of person-centred therapy. My role is not to direct or advise but to facilitate your self-discovery and personal growth. Together, we will work to uncover your inner strengths, helping you gain insight and clarity into your thoughts and emotions. The sessions last for 50 minutes.
Who I Work With
I work with adults over the age of 18 who are experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, bereavement and life transitions. Whether you are struggling with a specific problem or simply need someone to talk to, I am here to support you in finding your own solutions.
