Approach

I am a person-centred therapist by core training. This means that you are the expert of your experience, not me. I am here to facilitate love for self and peace of mind for those I work with. To achieve this, the psychotherapeutic element of my training means I can apply attachment theories and other more complex disciplines to explore how a person lost their self-worth and how to get it back.

I help my clients form an internal dialogue encouraging their ability and capacity for development. I am typically non-directive, but can offer skills for clients looking for a practical approach to managing the problems they face.

Who I work with

I work with high school age children to older adults.

I have specific skills and experience working with those suffering from anxiety and depression. If someone is struggling to make decisions about changes in their life, or going through life phase changes.

I have an interest in working with those who face barriers in their life because of elements of their diverse identity. Examples of this are: Neurodiversity, gender diversity, sexual diversity, people who feel their ethnicity is a barrier to getting non-judgemental support.

Further Information

I am a Jewish woman, mother, wife, and therapist. My goal is to use the life I have to help others feel better about themselves.

I am determined to be a part of helping the world become less judgemental and more open to the beauty of all of our uniqueness, individuality and diversity.

In my early career I have worked in television, tech, property, finance and food. In searching for my ideal work, I noticed one theme, helping people feel boosted and excited about their life and experiences gave me a sense of meaning. Helping people with their problems allowed me to feel useful.

Having spent some years now building my confidence and skill, I am ready to share my skills with others through private practice.
