Person-centred Counselling

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with experience of working with adults and young people, age 16+.

Types of Therapy Offered

I am trained as a person-centred therapist, but work integratively and use other forms of therapy depending on the individual needs of my clients.

Approach

It’s important to me that we build a good relationship between us so we can work collaboratively. I offer a safe, confidential and therapeutic space to help you make sense of your experiences and work through your thoughts and feelings which you might not otherwise share.

The benefits of working with a counsellor include:

  • working out what is making you feel stuck
  • increase in self-awareness
  • decrease in anxiety
  • improvement in managing your thoughts and feelings
  • becoming more open to change and living in the moment
  • learning to place more value on yourself and your needs
  • making sense of your past and how it relates to your life now.
  • taking control of your life

Who I work with

I have experience of working with people with a variety of mental health conditions including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Low self-confidence & self-esteem
  • Stress
  • Disordered eating
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Loss of identity
  • Bereavement
